
Aaron Coon, a resident of Muskegon, Michigan, and a Reeths-Puffer High School sophomore, passed away on Monday, May 15th, 2023, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. His beloved mother announced his death in a social media post that read, "I was so blessed that God chose me to be your mama. You were the most precious gift anyone could have ever received. I will not regret a moment of the time I was able to watch you grow. You had a heart for people and showed the love of God everywhere you went. I miss you, my beautiful boy!" Aaron was a member of the school's fishing team, and his loss has deeply affected his teammates, coaches, friends, and family.
A Fighter Until the End
Aaron Coon was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme, a type of brain cancer, a couple of years ago. He was a fighter from the beginning and never gave up, even when his illness became more challenging to manage. Aaron underwent several treatments and surgeries, but despite his best efforts and those of his medical team, his cancer progressed, and the tumor became inoperable.
Despite his health challenges, Aaron remained positive and continued to live his life to the fullest. He was determined to make the most of every moment and never let his illness get in the way of his passions and goals.

A Passion for Fishing and Classic Vehicles
Aaron was an active member of the Reeths-Puffer High School fishing team and loved nothing more than spending time on the water, casting a line, and catching fish. He was known for his skills and his love of the sport, and his teammates respected and admired him for his dedication and hard work.
In addition to his passion for fishing, Aaron also loved classic vehicles and was often seen admiring or working on cars.
